Dubai airport is huge and we had to walk one end to the other. Our plane didn’t leave on time.
The almost 15 hour flight wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. We slept off and on and ate the disgusting airline food. Little bit of vomit just thinking about it. I had many Netflix shows downloaded to my iPad so I was fairly content.
Our plane arrived late in Brisbane and a child onboard had become ill. They had come from a tropical country so quarantine had to clear our flight before we disembarked.
It became fairly obvious due to the volume of people that we would not make our connecting flight to Rockhampton. Qantas put us on a later flight which would have been better straight up, less panic.
